Independent Research Cites "Strong Performer" in Report on Subscription Billing Platforms
AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwired - November 11, 2015) - goTransverse[1], a leading provider of cloud-based subscription billing solutions, was among eight companies included in the first Forrester Wave™ evaluation of vendors for subscription billing platforms.
Forrester, one of the most influential research and advisory firms, selected the participating companies after identifying them as the most significant vendors in the mature market of subscription billing services. The report, titled "The Forrester Wave™: Subscription Billing Platforms, Q4 2015," is released today[2].
"We believe our position in this report reflects the significant investment we've made in our product," said James Messer, CEO of goTransverse. Messer also observed that just being selected for the evaluation was a notable honor for them, and that he believes the results further underscored the strength of goTransverse's unique billing platform TRACT[3]®[4] and the strength of its delivery team.
The company was cited in the report as a solution provider "focused on big fish." "goTransverse will be a fit for large B2B-centric organizations with very bespoke business requirements that desire a solution with significant customization capabilities and a close working relationship directly with the vendor," stated the Forrester report. Indeed, the report called attention to one client comment in particular when speaking about TRACT®: "once configured, it just works."
Some of the insights into goTransverse's products were gained through interviews with its customers. "Customers cite goTranverse's domain expertise in complex, usage-based billing as a core differentiator," said the report. It also highlights goTransverse's responsiveness to client demands. "Clients were complimentary of the strong relationship they have built with goTransverse and cite that the company has always been willing to make things happens (by sheer force, if necessary) to get projects delivered."
Messer notes that goTransverse has long been committed to offering the industry's most extensible billing platform, able to support not only customers' subscription billing needs, but also their complex usage-based billing scenarios and the automation of revenue recognition. "We are pleased with our rating and believe this is validation for the work we've done and the future direction we are taking for the innovative companies we serve," Messer said.
