2016 CES Innovation Winning Innovations and Products

Invisible Touch Fingerprint Sensor
Goodix invented the first invisible fingerprint sensor, concealed under the front glass of the touch panel enabling device manufacturers to establish fingerprint authentication without a physical button, creating sleek smartphones and small wearables with enhanced biometric security.

Touch Screen Enables Sharing Through Screen Itself
The touch screen technology enables you to transfer, share files and set up an ad-hoc interpersonal network using your smartphone's touchscreen, without requiring NFC or antennas. It utilizes the electrical field of the screen, for smartphones to communicate device to device by simply placing the touch screen faces near each other.

The CES Innovation Awards, held annually since 1976 in conjunction with the International CES in Las Vegas, is one of the most prestigious awards programs in the consumer electronics industry. The awards cover 29 product categories and products are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers, and trade journalists.

Entries are evaluated on their engineering, aesthetic and design qualities, intended use/function and user value, how the design and innovation of the product directly compares to other products in the marketplace and unique/novel features present. Products chosen as CES Innovation Honorees reflect innovative design and engineering in some of the most cutting edge tech products and services coming to market.
