BELLEVUE, WA — November 15th, 2023 — Seagull Scientific, maker of BarTender®, the global leader in software to print, mark, and code labels, RFID tags, products, and packaging, has released its latest Drivers by Seagull™ printer driver software.
This latest release adds support for Domino’s new Cx Series large character printer and support for encrypted print data transfer in Honeywell printers. It builds on the industry’s largest driver library – nearly 9,000 drivers for industrial printing, marking, and coding devices.
The latest Drivers by Seagull™ 2023.4 release continues Seagull’s commitment to provide support within the BarTender labeling solution for the latest marking and coding and security technology. Seagull provides drivers for printers that allow businesses to extend traceability and standardization into their marking, coding, and labeling systems across the entire supply chain.
Harold Boe, CEO of Seagull Scientific said: “More customers are concerned with the environmental impact of their printing and wish to print direct to cardboard and other surfaces to reduce their environmental footprint. New printers, such as the Domino Cx Series, have been specifically engineered and are fully capable of directly applying GS1-compliant barcodes, QR codes, brand logos, traceability, and product batch information directly to porous secondary packaging boxes and cases at production line speeds – all with less ink.”
Optimized for efficiency and developed to improve your operations, BarTender labeling solutions have helped countless organizations streamline their operations and reduce those costs by bringing together their disparate standalone labeling systems. With BarTender, they can perform optimized high-performance printing to nearly any printing, marking, and coding device – giving them serialization, track and trace, label template consolidation and management capability. Using BarTender to consolidate their printers, organizations can standardize their systems and processes to the entire supply chain - including inline printing equipment and production and packaging plant. These organizations are now seeing increased label accuracy and quality and reduced manual processes. Using the same BarTender labeling solution throughout their production processes reduces their operational, IT, and training costs.
