Dynamsoft Intros Cloud Service to Convert Scanned PDF and Images to Editable Documents

Dynamsoft Document Capture Service Is Ideal for Paper-Intensive Industries, from Retail and Healthcare to Government and Finance

VANCOUVER – April 17, 2017 – Dynamsoft™ has launched a new online document capture service that employs optical character recognition (OCR) so users can convert scanned PDF or images into document formats that allow the words to be edited, copied or pasted. The new service is scalable so it is accessible by any single person or for enterprise accounts requiring thousands of page scans.

The Dynamsoft Document Capture online OCR hosting service is now available here. Users simply create an account to start scanning documents or uploading image files on the service. The automated OCR takes moments, converting images or scanned PDFs to documents that can be edited in popular word processing software. Such processors include PDF, Word, Excel, ePub, text, and more. It allows users to extract text for essential document management, records archive, and more.

Users can import images or scan documents to upload and easily complete document conversions, such as PDF to Word and JPEG to Word. They can then export finished files to local machines or directly to cloud storage services, such as Box®, Dropbox® or OneDrive®. The service features SSL security during network transport.

Pricing and Availability

The cloud scanner service was designed to be used by non-IT users via any popular Internet browser. It is ideal for any individual or enterprise user looking for flexible solutions for OCR, document archiving, and document management. There are four price points for the SaaS scan service, ranging from $3 per year letting you scan and convert up to 100 pages to $950 per year for 100,000 pages. Custom packages are also available. Users can create an admin account and add other users to manage them.
