Future Stores Coming to the East Coast February 2017

FutureStoresMiami300X250BNR1NEW YORK – October 13, 2016 – Worldwide Business Research (WBR) is today announcing the launch of Future Stores Miami, an extension of its leading in-store experience event. The event will take place on February 7th-9th, 2017 in Miami.

Future Stores is the only event in the country focused on the in-store experience. 250 people will be in attendance at the new East Coast conference – a three-day event that will be six months in the making by the time the doors open. Over 45 retail executives are set to deliver talks and host Q&As, revealing how innovative new technologies and new strategies are evolving the in-store experience for customers in-line with modern demands, and what attendees must do to implement them.

Future Stores Miami is being brought to you by Worldwide Business Research (WBR), the organization responsible for the renowned eTail, Next Gen Customer Experience and Mobile Shopping conferences. From top-value content to networking to site tours, all hosted from the 4 Star JW Marriott Hotel in Miami, Future Stores is where invaluable education and networking opportunities meet luxury and VIP treatment for all members. This year’s East Coast event currently has 45 marquee speakers lined up, including:

  • Shelly Langa, VP, Retail Operations, Best Buy
  • Kit Hickey, Co-founder, Ministry of Supply
  • Dave Brewer, VP, Omnichannel/Stores, Belk
  • Jeffrey Dinard, CIO, On The Border

“The success of Future Stores Seattle has been unprecedented. Over just a few short years, it has risen from being almost unknown to the most important in-store experience event in North America,” Kristin Schoenstein, Event Producer, WBR, states. “The store is at a true turning point. Retailers have more data and tools than ever to create winning customer experiences, but the pace of change has left many companies shell-shocked. Future Stores Miami is an opportunity for the industry to come together and forge a path forward at every level of the customer experience. Everyone can expect to walk away with inspiring new ideas for future innovation.”

Site Tours are Future Stores’ most highly-anticipated feature. These tours through popular retail locations in the Miami area give attendees the chance to see retail in-store innovation in action at some of the world’s most admired brands. The only true way to see and feel how something works is to experience it yourself. Future Stores events go the extra mile to ensure that our members can do just that.

The tours, combined with the superlative content delivered by some of the most creative minds in the retail industry, are what set a Future Stores conference apart from all the rest. About Future Stores

Future Stores go beyond events where attendees simply sit around and listen to one speaker after another. The conferences are interactive by design, and involve roundtable discussions, panels, one-on-one Q&A opportunities, and of course our famous site tours that get attendees out of the conference center and into the field for first-hand witness of the latest retail innovations in action.

The content of a Future Stores event is meticulously planned. Months and months of industry research compiled in association with over 100 retail executives go into making each program, and culminate to provide niche learning opportunities, meaningful engagement, and deeper networking opportunities that simply won’t be found anywhere else.
