The new NeoReader feature enables users to export their scan history in CSV format and email it to the address of their choosing which opens countless possibilities of archiving, post-processing and sharing the data. The exported data can be machine processed for stock-keeping databases, shared for collaboration purposes, and used for creating event attendants’ lists, etc.  The feature is available as an in-app purchase in version 4.09 of NeoReader for Android, iOS and Windows Phone.

NeoMedia is also excited to announce NeoReader SDK release 1.13.0 which includes:

  • Added new symbologies and decoding parameters to 1D package: Interleaved 2of5 / Code 93 / Code 11 / Chinese Postcode / Codabar / EAN supplement
  • Fixed zero-termination issue for PDF417 and QR

Android only feature:

  • Revised license server connectivity to transmit a hashed value of the device instead of a UUID

iOS only feature:

  • Made UUID persistent for easier license handling after re-installation and in development process.
  • Added binary data output of scanned code
