SCANSOURCE’S CHRISTY THOMPSON AND ANSLEY HOKE NAMED CRN WOMEN OF THE CHANNEL

(NASDAQ: SCSC), the leading international value-added distributor of specialty technology products, today announced that Christy Thompson, worldwide vice president of marketing for ScanSource, Inc., and Ansley Hoke, vice president of merchandising for ScanSource Catalyst, have been named to the CRN 2014 Women of the Channel list. The annual Women of the Channel list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution, and solution provider organizations and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT reseller industry.

Ms. Thompson has also been recognized as one of this year’s Power 100. The Power 100 spotlights those female executives at vendor and distributor organizations whose insight and influence in their respective companies help drive channel success.

Ms. Thompson leads ScanSource’s marketing and branding initiatives across all geographies, with a focus on generating ROI through integrated systems and workflows. She works closely with the Company’s executives to create comprehensive, results-driven marketing strategies and to better understand channel landscapes and stakeholder opinions. Ms. Thompson has led the implementation of numerous marketing systems and tools that have increased efficiencies and added new capabilities, and she continues to drive best practices with a focus on high-performance workflows and cross-functional team management. Ms. Thompson joined ScanSource in 2005 as Director of Strategic Marketing.

Ms. Hoke is responsible for the management and direction of ScanSource Catalyst’s vendor relationships, helping to guide strategy and jointly develop growth opportunities. She joined ScanSource in 2001, where she served in merchandising leadership roles for the Company’s Point-of-Sale and Barcode sales unit, most recently as acting Vice President of Merchandising. Ms. Hoke was instrumental in the development of many of the sales unit’s manufacturer partner relationships, helping to grow the relationship and lead the product management teams.
