Beacon EDI Passes Testing with Nordstrom

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 06, 2014

Beacon EDI announces it has passed the testing phase with the Nordstrom Company for new EDI documents. This testing paves the way for Nordstrom suppliers that use Beacon as an EDI provider to improve their EDI automation processes by using Beacon EDI cloud services.

By completing the testing phase, Nordstrom vendors can now begin integration of a more advanced EDI process[1] designed to help them spend less time verifying and processing bills and handling invoices and shipments. As part of the testing phase, Beacon EDI was able to provide proper validation through sending electronic invoices, generate electronic advance shipment notifications, the loading of UPC catalog onto the GXS catalog and receive electronic purchase orders.

Both Beacon EDI and Nordstrom vendors benefit from this testing phase as any new division within Nordstrom that uses the same EDI spec should automatically receive approval for compliance without further testing.

Beacon EDI is among the leading companies chosen based on their experience in EDI and supply-chain related roles as they help companies achieve improvements in productivity while reducing errors rates through EDI automation[2].
