Wireless Barcode Scanners Designed for Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch (2)

"Our customers have been asking for more barcode scanning choices for their Apple devices, and Apple's launch of iOS4 has given us the opportunity to better serve our customers by creating a line of affordable barcode scanners for use with the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. These scanning options are great for customers who don't require 2D capabilities, but still need industrial-class laser scanning performance," said Samantha Chu, data collection product manager at Socket Mobile. "In addition, our partnership with Zerion Software opens up new possibilities for businesses large and small to easily and affordably integrate barcode scanning into their mobile operations in applications such as maintenance inspections, inventory management and more."

"Many businesses don't realize that a high-performance barcode scanner can be used with Apple devices and we think Socket has great potential for becoming the de facto standard when it comes to barcode scanning using the iPad, iPhone or iPod touch," said Sze Wong, president and founder of Zerion Software. "We're seeing a high level of interest in the CHS from our customers. When combined with our iFormBuilder data collection software, the CHS is a powerful tool that enables mobile workers to collect information quickly, easily and accurately."
