Eventbrite Launches kiosk Barcode Reader

Around the end of the month of December, Eventbrite plans to launch a live barcode scanner device with partner, Trakkers. Doing so will give organizations a faster and easier way to scan tickets using a small Linux-based system.

Eventbrite has just launched an event management tool with a Google Analytics look-a-like to “show planners where attendees are being referred from, what their demographics are, when they show up at event, revenue generated over time and discount code usage.” At the start of 2010, the company will also launch an event directory to help users find things to do around their area.
