IKH Upgrades to IBS Business-to-Business E-Commerce Platform
ESPOO, FINLAND--(Marketwired - May 17, 2016) - International Business Systems[1] (IBS), a leading global supplier of integrated ERP, warehouse management systems (WMS) and supply chain solutions, announced today that Isojoen Konehalli Oy (IKH), a Finnish importer of tools, machinery, parts, accessories and work gear, has chosen to upgrade its current e-commerce capabilities to the latest IBS NetStore release. The upgrade positions IKH to accommodate the anticipated increase in online service from its customers with a next-generation solution.
IKH currently exports to more than 20 countries, and manages an expansive product range of more than 50,000 items imported from more than 30 different countries. A customer of IBS since 1990, IKH currently uses IBS Enterprise, NetStore and Integrator solutions to support its distribution business. The family-owned company reported revenues of $96 million EUR in 2015 and continues to grow.
"The upgrade will give us a host of new features and functions not available on the earlier release, helping us better serve our B2B customers, and greatly improving their online service experience," said Tuomas Hilakari, IKH Managing Director.
With the latest NetStore release, IKH will provide a high-end, modern online user experience that supports its expansion efforts and future growth. Benefits include a fully integrated e-commerce solution with direct real-time information, the ability to make changes quickly and easily, and new upsell and cross-sell functionality.
"The new IBS NetStore version will not only offer IKH the ability to manage up to 50,000 items through its web store, but it will also provide IKH the added flexibility to join IBS in the co-development of future versions of NetStore," said Timo Ranta, IKH IT Manager.
During the project, IBS will work directly with IKH to merge current business requirements and existing modifications to the company's upcoming release of IBS NetStore, developing new features that add value while merging IKH's modifications to the standard NetStore solution.
"We are pleased to have been a trusted business partner of IKH for so many years," said Jayne Archbold, IBS CEO. "Customers are at the center of everything we do, and this relationship is an example of that -- working together to understand the business, and providing solutions that support growth for our customers. We look forward to continuing our relationship with IKH."
