SCANSOURCE MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE FOR POS AND BARCODE BUSINESS IN LATIN AMERICA

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – ScanSource, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCSC), the leading international value-added distributor of specialty technology products, has announced a new management structure for its POS and Barcode business in Latin America, effective July 1, 2015.

Alex Conde has been named President of ScanSource POS and Barcode for Latin America with responsibility across Brazil, Latin America and Mexico. Mr. Conde joined ScanSource in 2011 when ScanSource purchased CDC Brasil, a POS and automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) distributor for which he was president and a founder. He has served as president of ScanSource Brazil since that time. Prior to that, Mr. Conde worked for a POS peripheral manufacturer and a computer peripheral manufacturer, where he held a number of leadership positions in finance, planning, logistics, sales and marketing.

Marcelo Hirsch has been named Vice President of Sales for Latin America, where he leads POS and Barcode sales in Brazil, Latin America and Mexico. He also manages vendor relationships in Brazil. Mr. Hirsch previously served as Executive Director of Sales for ScanSource in Brazil, also joining the Company through the acquisition of CDC Brasil, where he was a director and shareholder. He brings more than 22 years of experience to this leadership position.

Yvette McKenzie has been named Vice President of Merchandising for ScanSource Latin America, where she leads the merchandising efforts for POS and Barcode across Latin America and Mexico. She will also support Mr. Hirsch’s merchandising efforts in Brazil. Ms. McKenzie previously led the sales and merchandising teams in the POS and Barcode business in Latin America and Mexico. Prior to that, she oversaw business operations in Latin America and Mexico. Ms. McKenzie has been with ScanSource for more than 15 years, having served in management roles, including Vice President of Merchandising for ScanSource POS and Barcode in the US and ScanSource Communications in the US. Prior to joining ScanSource, Ms. McKenzie spent more than 16 years in various management and executive positions in sales and channel marketing.
