A free barcode scanner app, BeeTagg is pretty sophisticated in terms of its scanning functionality, but it doesn’t offer any comprehensive built-in database capabilities. That said, you can copy and paste information and codes for later documentation. Users generally say it works okay, but there are some difficulties reported with 1D codes and certain phone models.
