NiceLabel recognized by the worldwide association for the automatic identification industry
Ljubljana (Slovenia), 5 October 2018 – NiceLabel, the leading developer of label and marking productivity software solutions, was selected by AIM, the trusted worldwide association for the automatic identification industry, providing unbiased information, educational resources and standards, as winner of the 2018 AIDC Case Study Competition.
Presented annually by AIM, the Case Study Competitionrecognizes those who have developed and delivered compelling solutions that contribute to the growth and advancement of automatic identification and data capture (AIDC). These innovative technology solutions provide benefits that decrease risk and accelerate the advancement and adoption of automatic identification around the world. The competition was open to both AIM members and non-members around the world to help promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the industry.

The entry by NiceLabel presents a project for global powerhouse Siemens. The centralized labeling project delivers real-time, multilingual, barcode labels to highly automated manufacturing and logistics environments. By deploying the NiceLabel Label Management System (LMS) on a private Siemens Cloud, NiceLabel was able to achieve the desired level of standardization and flexibility that Siemens needed. Siemens has implemented the NiceLabel solution to be their centralized global platform for label production and printing that could be rolled out to more than 20 international sites. Additionally, LMS offers seamless integration with Siemens PLM, MES and ERP systems. This project not only delivered an ROI in 4 months, but reduced label print time by 266%.
