ISA and Honeywell to co-host free webinar next Tuesday on integrated DCS solutions
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA - The International Society of Automation (ISA) and its corporate partner, Honeywell Process Solutions, will co-host a free webinar 21 November 2017 on integrated DCS solutions.
The webinar, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time, will feature two subject matter experts: Eric Cosman, Co-Chair of the ISA99 Committee, and Shivendra Mishra, Global Product Marketing Manager at Honeywell Process Solutions.
The speakers will discuss the need and importance of having a well-integrated DCS system, given the challenges faced by process industries today, and shed light on its benefits for the organization.
“The evolution of proprietary and complex DCS systems to being more open, modular and secure now is helping organizations with an integrated environment maximize ROI and lower TCO to stay ahead in the game” says Shivendra Mishra, Global Product Manager, Scalable Control Systems, Honeywell.
“A suitably integrated control system provides the asset owner with benefits in the form of improved capability and simpler operation. Effective integration means a single 'source of the truth’ with respect to process conditions and reduced duplication of function and data,” says Eric Cosman, Principal Consultant at OIT Concepts LLC.
“ISA is pleased to co-sponsor this important free webinar with Honeywell as part of our commitment to educate our members and customers and others in the automation community on topics of significant interest and value,” says Jennifer Halsey, ISA's Director of Marketing & Communications.
