Tageos Strengthens its Sales Team in North America

MONTPELLIER, FRANCE and RALEIGH, USA (December, 2016)– Tageos, a cutting edge RFID tag manufacturer of 100% paper-based UHF RFID labels, announces that two industry experts Steven Byrd and McLeod Williamson joined the company to extend Tageos’ sales and business development team in North America. 

Steven Byrd, formerly Senior Account Executive at SML, a global business and branding solutions provider, joined Tageos in May 2016 as Director of Sales, Americas. Steven has over 24 years of experience in sales and business development in the labeling and packaging industry and worked more than 6 years at CGP and then SML as Senior Account Executive. During his career, Steven has worked extensively across the retail apparel sector in North America, identifying and on boarding new clients for RFID tags and solutions. 

McLeod Williamson joined Tageos in September 2016 as Director of Business Development, Americas. Prior to joining Tageos, McLeod served as RFID Business Development Manager with RR Donnelley where he was responsible for driving business for the CustomWave UHF and HF RFID products. Before RR Donnelley, McLeod worked over 10 years at Zebra Technologies, a leading mobility and identification hardware manufacturer, as RFID Business Development Manager, growing Zebra’s RFID printer/encoder business by engaging customers and systems integrators across multiple industries. 

Steven and McLeod are based in the Tageos Raleigh office (North Carolina).
