Initial Launch Supports SmartTE for Datalogic's New DL-Axist PDA and Joya Touch Mobile Devices

TUSTIN, CA--(Marketwired - August 17, 2016) - StayLinked Corporation, the leader in modern Terminal Emulation solutions, announced today that it has reached an agreement with Datalogic to offer StayLinked Terminal Emulation to Datalogic's global network of partners and customers.

The agreement enables Datalogic, a global leader in Automatic Data Capture and Industrial Automation markets, and world-class producer of bar code readers, mobile computers, sensors, vision systems and laser marking equipment, to deliver StayLinked's new graphical SmartTE software in all of their data collection market segments.

"It is very exciting to be working so closely with Datalogic to deliver our joint solution to the industry," said Gary Brewsaugh, StayLinked's CEO. "StayLinked products allow customers to take full advantage of Datalogic mobile computers, realizing significant productivity gains. For example, our SmartTE solution transforms Terminal Emulation screens into graphical, touch-centric application screens for devices like the Datalogic DL-Axist™ PDA and the new Joya™ Touch multi-purpose device."

The unique architecture of StayLinked Terminal Emulation connects mobile devices to host-based applications such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in a very reliable, secure, and high performance manner. It has been widely adopted across many industries including manufacturing, warehousing, transportation & logistics, 3PL, and retail.

"We are enthusiastic about offering StayLinked SmartTE on our new full screen mobile computers," states Tom Burke, Vice President of Product Marketing for Mobile Computers at Datalogic. "Both the DL-Axist PDA and Joya Touch multi-purpose device have full touch displays, delivering a friendlier interface to our customers. With StayLinked SmartTE our devices will present a modern graphical method to interact with terminal emulation back end systems."
