Internet of Things Inc Appoints New Directors and Shareholders

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - August 11, 2016) - Internet of Things Inc. (TSX VENTURE: ITT) ("IoT Inc." or the "Company"), a technology company that is focused on acquiring and implementing disruptive Industrial IoT technologies and solutions, announces all matters were approved at the Company's annual and special meeting of shareholders (the "AGM") held in Toronto on August 9, 2016. The Company is pleased to welcome two new directors Jerry Grafstein and Gali Bar-Ziv, to its Board of Directors. The shareholders re-elected Michael Frank, Millard Roth and Richard Zhou as directors of Internet of Things Inc.

The Hon. Jerry S. Grafstein, Q.C., holds degrees from the University of Western Ontario and the University of Toronto Law School and has taught the Bar Admission Course at Osgoode Hall. He has wide-ranging legal and business experience in all aspects of media. Mr. Grafstein was a co-founder of a range of media companies, focusing on broadcasting, cable, communications, film production and publication enterprises in Canada, the USA, the UK, South America. He recently co-founded on-line news sites from Canada, USA, Brazil, China, Russia, Africa, UK, Europe and the Mideast. Mr. Grafstein advised several key government ministries, including Transportation, External Affairs, Consumer and Corporate Affairs and Justice. He was appointed to the Senate of Canada in 1984 by then Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau. Mr. Grafstein served on all Senate Committees, including the Foreign Affairs and the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committees. He served as Chairman of the Senate Banking, Trade and Commerce Committee. While in the Senate, Mr. Grafstein was a long serving Co-Chair of the Canada-United States Inter-Parliamentary Group, and a long serving senior officer of the Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA). He retired from the Senate on January 1, 2010. Mr. Grafstein continues his law practice in corporate finance and communication law and as counsel emeritus to Minden Gross LLP in Toronto and remains active in the local affairs in Toronto. Mr. Grafstein now devotes most of his business time to technology start-ups in Canada, U.S. and Latin America.

Gali Bar-Ziv brings more than 15 years of management and entrepreneurial experience, including financing, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, channel development and corporate development with extensive international experience in Israel, China, and Latin America. He serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Lingo Media Corporation and President & CEO of its subsidiary, ELL Technologies Ltd.. Previously Mr. Bar-Ziv profitably grew a sale, marketing and distribution start-up to sales growth of more than 700% year over year. Prior to that, he successfully turned around the largest service division of a $300 Million financial services company while at Fairfax Financial. Mr. Bar-Ziv holds a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) degree from the University of London and an MBA in Strategic and Entrepreneurial studies from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto.

In addition, shareholders also approved the reappointment of MNP LLP, Chartered Accountants as auditors.

Subsequent to the AGM, the directors reappointed Michael Frank as President & CEO, Khurram Qureshi as Chief Financial Officer and Manish Dixit as Chief Technology Officer.
