In order to manage its fire protection processes, ExxonMobil works closely with Total Safety, the world’s leading provider of integrated industrial safety services and compliance solutions. Utilizing Janam’s XM5 rugged mobile computers running OnSite Software’s Life Safety Inspector application, the Total Safety team will now be able to deploy a reliable mobile solution to perform, track and manage inspections of safety equipment.

It also offers 802.11a/b/g/n dual-band WLAN and 4G-ready UMTS/HSPA+/HSDPA/HSUPA/GSM WWAN communications for access to high-quality and reliable voice and data inside and outside the four walls. In addition, the XM5 ships with a 4000mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery, providing extended battery life as a standard feature, not an optional one.
