Inventory Optimization Solutions Recognizes Touchstone as Final Recipient of the 2017 Best Practice Awards

Inventory Optimization Solutions (IOS) today announced Touchstone Medical Imaging has received the final 2017 Best Practice Award, for their use of the Envi® solution from IOS in addressing some of the most challenging issues faced by multi-facility clinical practices. Some of these issues include the need for greater automation, visibility to supplies consumed, and standardization of products and vendors, in order to deliver the highest quality patient care. Every quarter, IOS identifies and shares best practices from among its customer base of over 5,000 healthcare facilities, to provide education to the healthcare community on supply chain automation, especially in the non-acute healthcare market.

Touchstone Imaging was built based on a mission of offering patients and physicians the highest quality outpatient imaging services, and to support them with a deeply instilled work ethic of personal service and integrity. As the organization has grown to 60 centers over recent years, the philosophy of keeping the patient at the cornerstone of every decision remains the same. It’s with this spirit that Touchstone Imaging recognized the need for greater automation in their supply chain processes, in order to service their patients with the greatest efficiency.

“It’s been essential that we digitize our entire ordering process into a single platform, with fingertip access for our clinicians,” said Rami Nofal, senior financial analyst, Touchstone Medical Imaging, LLC. “We selected the Envi solution from IOS to help us implement a system and processes that would give us more visibility and control over what we buy. Today our buyers can log into Envi from anywhere and order exactly the products we’ve selected in our formulary. We keep control over spend, deliver services with the highest quality, and reduce costs.”

“We’re honored to have Touchstone Medical Imaging among our customers, and excited to name them as the final 2017 recipient of our quarterly Best Practices Award,” said Steve Britt, managing partner, IOS. “As we work with clinicians, administrators and supply chain team members in provider organizations that cover the entire continuum of care, we continually hear what’s working most effectively to improve processes, maintain high quality, and reduce costs. With our commitment to driving industry best practices, we will continue to recognize leading organizations for their success and share their experience with others.”

More than 5,000 healthcare facilities trust IOS as their supply chain technology provider, delivering scalable, customizable and affordable technology for automation of supply chain processes and intelligent data-driven decision-making. IOS provides powerful, flexible, web-based solutions that are affordably priced and modular, helping ensure organizations get exactly the functionality they need.
