Bonded Logistics Announces Management Hires and Promotions

Bonded Logistics, a privately-owned provider of third-party logistics (3PL) services, announces new hires and promotions to strengthen its management team. New hires include Tom Williams as Director of Transportation, Kyle Knowles as Director of Onboarding, and Frank Wagner as Facility Manager. Doniele (Dannie) Pratt has been promoted to General Manager.

Williams brings 31 years of supply chain experience across industries such as food service, manufacturing, and retail. Most recently, he worked as Supply Chain Manager for Dean Foods, and prior to that held various positions managing transportation spend for companies such as Family Dollar and Sysco. The newly created position of Director of Transportation is responsible for management of the entire transportation brokerage division, including strategic direction, execution, and carrier relationships. He reports to Dave Jesse, COO of Bonded Logistics.

“We are ecstatic to have Tom leading our transportation team,” states Scott Carr, President and CEO of Bonded Logistics. “He brings the leadership and supply chain expertise that we’ve been looking for to grow this division. His knowledge from the customer perspective, especially when it comes to contracts, compliance and carrier relationships, provides enhanced insight as we determine how to move this division forward.”

Knowles joins Bonded Logistics from Genco/FedEx Supply Chain, where he spent the last four years as a Project Manager working with start-ups on hardware and systems implementation. He brings over 20 years of supply chain expertise, managing IT and systems integration for companies such as Genco, Flextronics, and Ericsson. Knowles assumes the role of Director of Onboarding and is responsible for process and systems implementation for new and existing clients. He also reports to Dave Jesse.

Wagner joins Bonded Logistics from Yankee Clipper Distribution where he was General Manager. His prior experience includes managing warehouses and distribution for companies such as Contec, American Utex, Donna Karen, and Isotoner. Wagner assumes the role of Facility Manager of Bonded’s 176,500 sq. ft. public warehouse at 7320 Statesville Road, and is responsible for all day-to-day operations. He reports to Jeff Jaeger, Vice President of Operations.

Pratt has been with Bonded since February of 2016 when she was hired as a Facility Manager for their 200,000 sq. ft. dedicated facility in Newton, NC. In February, she was promoted to Director of Onboarding, a newly created position to assist with the implementation of new clients. In her new role as General Manager over facilities in Newton as well as in Mebane, NC, she oversees customer relationships, productivity, quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Pratt also reports to Jeff Jaeger.

“These new additions and promotions continue to bolster our management team,” adds Jesse. “As we continue to enhance the services provided to our clients, it’s important that we have experienced staff with common goals of providing a high level of customer service and sharing corporate values. Tom, Kyle, Frank, and Dannie all have those capabilities. We’re very happy to have them here at Bonded.”
