Socket Mobile Unveils DuraScan D600 Contactless Reader/Writer

NEWARK, Calif., Feb. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Socket Mobile, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCKT), a leading innovator of data capture and delivery solutions for enhanced productivity, today announced the expansion of their DuraScan product line with the D600 Contactless Reader/Writer. The new D600 can both read and write with near field communication, expanding the NFC market as a mobile App friendly device. It supports ISO 15693, ISO/IEC 14443A&B (including MIFARE & FeliCa) compliant Tags.

The D600 is the latest DuraScan handheld model, part of a series of highly durable, easy-to-use readers with intuitive interfacing. As an ergonomically handheld RFID reader/writer, the D600 expands Socket Mobile's data capture abilities by incorporating NFC technology. Drop and tumble tested, the D600 is also IP54 rated as well as both light weight and designed conformably to fit in the human hand.
