Smartrac to Take Security and Convenience to the Max at #Trustech2016

Amsterdam (The Netherlands), November 24, 2016 – Smartrac is demonstrating its unwavering commitment to “Taking Security and Convenience to the Max with RFID” at Trustech in Cannes, France. Under this motto, the RFID and IoT pacesetter is showcasing many innovative products and solutions, most notably the document verification and authentication solution dLoc.

Being the largest event dedicated to trust-based technologies, Trustech tradeshow in Cannes provides the right setting for the official launch of dLoc. Visitors can see how this groundbreaking solution combines the simplicity of NFC with the functionality of Smart Cosmos and the security of blockchain technology, to provide a reliable and comprehensive solution for the authentication of any vital document, by eliminating the weakest link in the identity chain.

Wide range of new products and solutions

On top of that, Smartrac’s Trustech appearance (Booth #Riviera A050) showcases a variety of products and solution-related innovations. New products on show include a cutting-edge Dual Frequency Prelam® for hands-free contactless card applications, allowing for example transport and leisure park operators to select the type of revenue collection method appropriate to the point of entry. Another innovative release are new LED cards that enable eye-catching lighting effects. These LED cards feature balanced performance of the LED and RFID, making sure that the LED and RFID chip powers up at the same time.

Visa and Mastercard approvals granted

Right in time for Trustech, Smartrac’s previously launched wire booster antenna is in the spotlight following its approval by Visa and Mastercard, granted in connection with Infineon’s SLJ 32 Payment EMV solution product and innovative “Coil on Module” chip packaging technology.

The innovative document verification and authentication solution dLoc is also Smartrac’s entry for this year’s Sesames Awards.
