Zebra Deploys Player Tracking RFID Solution for College Football Championship
LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., Jan. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a global leader in solutions and services that provide real-time visibility into organizations' assets, people and transactions, today announced its award-winning Zebra Sports Solution, which operates inside every NFL stadium, will be used for the College Football Playoffs (CFP) National Championship Game at the University of Phoenix Stadium on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016.
Zebra collaborated with the CFP and the four participating schools (Alabama, Clemson, Michigan State, Oklahoma) to implement its real-time, revolutionary player tracking system, for the CFP semifinals at the Orange Bowl at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., and the Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, on Dec. 31, 2015.
