Socket Mobile Debuts DuraScan Barcode Scanners at 2016 NRF Show

(OTC: SCKT), a leading innovator of data capture and delivery solutions for enhanced productivity, announced today that it will present and demonstrate new product offerings at the upcoming National Retail Federation (NRF) annual Expo to be held on January 17th - 19th, 2016 in New York City. Socket Mobile will present DuraScan, an updated durable line of barcode scanners and DuraCase for its Series 8 Scanners featuring RAM® IntelliSkin™ and GDS Technology™. Socket Mobile will also preview the new Socket Mobile TouchPoint™ platform to show how NFC (Near Field Communication), barcode scanning, and Bluetooth® Low Energy enrich the shopping experience by interacting with the customer's SmartPhone. Socket Mobile will be partnering with GK Software in booth #1443 at the NRF show. 


GK Software will be displaying DuraScan to NRF attendees. DuraScan features intuitive indicators, an IP-54 durability rating, an improved tactile feel On/Off button and 15+ Hrs. of battery life among other exciting new features. The line will include 1D imager, 1D laser and 2D models. The DuraCase securely stacks Socket Mobile's Cordless Hand Scanner 8Qi onto almost any smartphone. It features RAM® IntelliSkin™ made of rubberized material resulting in a durable, lightweight, single-handed scanning solution.
