RAIN UHF RFID Industry Alliance Offers New Membership Option

rfid-rainRAIN UHF RFID Industry Alliance Announces New Membership Category

RAIN, the industry alliance for UHF RFID,  has announced a special membership category for all new members joining before September 8, 2014.

RAIN, introduced at RFID Journal LIVE! in April 2014, is an industry alliance that promotes the awareness and adoption of UHF RFID (as standardized by GS1 EPCglobal™ and ISO/IEC 18000-63). RAIN also promotes education and marketing initiatives to accelerate the growth and adoption of ISO/IEC 18000-63 / GS1 EPCglobal™ UHF Gen2 RFID in business and consumer applications worldwide.

Steve Halliday, President of RAIN, outlined the benefits of this new membership option.  "New charter members joining RAIN before the September deadline will elect an additional board member at the first meeting of the Alliance, as well as receive a discount on their RAIN membership dues for the first year.”

As an added bonus, current AIM members who decide to join RAIN will also receive a discount on their RAIN dues.

Companies with further questions about the benefits of joining the Alliance are invited to attend a webinar on July 8, 2014 at 10:00am EDT. Details and a sign-up form can be found on RAIN's website.
