Supply Chain Services Promotes Gallatin to CFO Position

Oakdale, MN (PRWEB) December 09, 2013

Supply Chain Services, a leading supplier of data capture solutions for the North American warehouse, distribution and manufacturing markets, today announced the promotion of Randy Gallatin to the new position of Chief Financial Officer reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

Gallatin (36) served as the company's Controller since early 2009. Over the ensuing five years the company more than doubled its revenue, tripled its number of employees, and developed into a highly respected, top-tier value added reseller of mobile computing, barcode scanning[1], IT services and wireless infrastructure solutions. Throughout that timeframe, the company has been consistently profitable with strong, positive cash flows. The company recently completed the changeover of its enterprise software system to a fully integrated approach that was on time and within budget, largely due to Gallatin's leadership.

"Creating the new CFO position is both timely and critical for Supply Chain Services," stated Chip Emery, CEO. "As we have grown in size and capability the complexity of the company has also increased. Watching Randy grow with the business has been a great pleasure and having him leading the finance and administration functions going forward gives us a lot of confidence in continuing our profitable growth path."

Prior to joining Supply Chain Services, Gallatin was controller for Gunderson Construction. Prior to that he spent four years as an accountant with HLB Tautges Redpath. He holds a BA in accounting from St. Mary's University.

Supply Chain Services is a full service provider of barcode solutions and IT services. The company specializes in designing and implementing rugged mobile computer, barcode scanner, barcode printer, and wireless network infrastructures to support supply chain processes within warehousing, manufacturing, and distribution organizations. Supply Chain Services is located in Oakdale, Minnesota and has over 2000 customers across North America. For more information, visit http://www.supplychainservices.com[2].
