Pivotal Payments Speeds Up Business with Silanis Cloud E-Signatures

Montreal, QC (PRWEB) October 02, 2013

Leading electronic signature provider Silanis Technology[1] today announced Pivotal Payments[2], a leading North American merchant services provider, has rolled out Silanis’ cloud e-signature platform e-SignLive™[3] to speed up transactions and decrease the risks of fraud and liability.

In the highly competitive payment processing industry, speed and security are top priorities. Silanis’ ability to process transactions efficiently and securely is what compelled Pivotal Payments to add electronic signatures to its new merchant application process.

Silanis’ cloud e-signature solution was integrated with Pivotal Payments’ electronic application and account management system with minimal effort. Using Pivotal Payment’s electronic application, data fields auto-populate and generate a completely accurate document for sales executives prior to e-signature. Sales executives can then trigger an email to the merchant and complete the transaction electronically, rather than physically mailing or faxing the application.

"We want to make the experience for our clients more efficient by simplifying the application and boarding process and have found that using e-signatures has allowed us to do just that," said Pivotal Payments’ Vice President of Corporate Projects, Barry Kwasny.

Adding e-signature capability has resulted in lowered drop-off rates, from 60 percent on paper to 25 percent electronically and mostly eliminated tasks associated with paper processing, including the need to print, courier, review a fax for errors and scan the document back into the system. It’s often here that problems can occur, when documents come back with errors, missing signatures or lose clarity due to fax degradation. Having complete and accurate records is especially important for payment processors that undergo audits by their bank partners.

“Introducing new processes or technology is always tricky. You have one chance to get it right or risk lessened adoption,” said Pivotal Payments’ Senior Vice President, Canadian Sales, Ross Haider. “With e-signatures, everyone jumped on board and saw the benefits immediately.”

“We’re excited to be working with a fellow Montreal-based company, to help move the payment processing industry forward and offer better service to merchants looking to get set up as quickly as possible,” said Silanis Technology CEO and co-founder Tommy Petrogiannis.
