Honeywell Completes First North America Partner Event
Honeywell today announced the successful completion of its first North America Partner Event, a three-day conference with Honeywell Scanning & Mobility’s (HSM) executives and key industry partners aimed at helping Honeywell partners better serve their end-users. Honeywell also presented the winners of its 2010 Partner of the Year and ISV of the Year Awards to Integra and 2GO Software, respectively. In addition to the award ceremony, the North America Partner Event consisted of industry-leading presentations, educational breakout sessions and several networking opportunities, and took place at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 26 – 28, 2010.
“Over the past year, Honeywell has put a major focus on developing relationships within the data capture space that are mutually beneficial and innovative,” said Andrew D’Amelio, sales vice president – The Americas, Honeywell Scanning & Mobility. “Through programs like our North America Channel and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Partner Programs, and our newly-formed ISV Advisory Council, we can ensure that every product offering we deliver to the market meets the standards and needs of our end-users. The overwhelming participation we’ve seen in the partner event is proof of our continued leadership and management of all of our industry relationships – from ISVs, to resellers, to end-users.”
Over the course of the event, Honeywell featured a wide range of educational and relationship-building activities, including an ISV and Alliance Solutions Fair showcasing more than 25 Honeywell ISV partners. Attendees had the opportunity to take part in an interactive session with the HSM leadership team; hear from industry leaders such as Aruba and Microsoft; and learn about custom software offerings from Honeywell’s ISV partners.
In addition to the Partner and ISV of the Year Awards, regional award winners were announced, including:
· North Central: Daugherty Business Solutions
· Northeast: SSE Technologies
· Ohio Valley & South: Barcodes Inc.
· South Central: Extendata
· Southeast: The Culver Group
· West: Quest Solutions
· Canada: Ahearn and Soper
This year’s winners were selected based on their loyalty to Honeywell solutions over the competition; their ability to increase Honeywell sales year over year by more than 25 percent; their execution of marketing plans that feature Honeywell solutions; and the creation of joint custom solutions for retail, healthcare and/or transportation and logistics industries.
