According to John Scopes, co-founder, MSkynet tracked over 10 million QR codes in the month of December alone, making it one of the largest QR code companies in the United States. 

QR Codes are 2D barcodes that sometimes appear in magazine ads, store windows, on cell phones and other places.   People can scan the codes with their cellphones and receive more information or are linked to a website that has more information.  Sometimes coupons are available by scanning the 2D codes.
