Panasonic Mobile Computer Can Read RFID and Bar Codes

Panasonic’s Mobile Handheld Tablet, the Toughbook H1 Field, boasts a “rugged” reputation for meeting industry standards and withstanding rigorous six-foot drop tests making it ideal for harsh field conditions. Better than that, it offers the ability to read RFID and bar codes with a built-in camera option as well as “GPS and Qualcomm’s new Gobi2000™ mobile broadband technology.” The tablet also comes equipped with optional security features such as a SmartCard and fingerprint reader. This computer is intended for use in various work environments such as construction, warehouses, roadways, and docks. The design has a handle for convenient transportation to and from different locations.
