IDAutomation.com adds QR to Java Barcode pack

” QR Code is a modern and more efficient 2D barcode “symbology.” Not only is it current with the ISO/IEC 18004:2006 standard, but it also encodes photos, characters, text, numbers and other forms of data. Performance enhancements, including reading parentheses as an FNC1 character is included as part of the Java Package update, as well.

“The JavaBeans, Applets, Servlets and Class Libraries in this package may be used on any platform with a Java Virtual Machine, including Windows, LINUX, MacOS, Solaris, HP/UX, AS/400 and OS/390 to integrate automated bar coding into internet applications, websites or custom Java applications.” The Applets and Servlets are easy to use, applicable on all operating systems, and require no programming. (They may be inserted in HTML via an IMG or apple tag.)
