Tourists rejoice! Wandering in confusion down foreign streets is overrated. New barcode technology will give you the direction you seek. French-owned company Connecthings has just partnered with the global barcode pioneers 3GVision to create better 2D accessibility for companies in France. Now visitors to France with mobile barcode capabilities will be able to obtain up-to-date local information about where they are in France. Tasks like obtaining area maps and information about local businesses are a click away with this new feature that can be used by scanning the printed barcodes found in bus stations and “street furniture”. The i-nigma barcode application, which makes these features compatible in France, is now available for download from 3GVision.
